National Education 20/20 Foundation, Inc. (NEF) is dedicated to providing student vision and hearing testing. We take immediate action to correct vision and hearing impairment, including fitting them with optical and hearing mechanisms (eyewear and hearing aid.) Additionally, we provide school-age children whose parents do not have insurance and are not eligible for Medicaid with affordable, subsidized, or free eyewear and hearing aid.
Our On-Site Mobile Care Operations focus on improving the quality of life and overall health of rural communities and children with lower access levels. We provide on-site portable care with compassion using state-of-the-art equipment. Our mobile on-site model can provide audiology and vision services at your facility or center, eliminating the need for transportation coordination and waiting room worries

Less than 30% of children entering school have received the appropriate vision and hearing screening. One out of 10 students will need glasses by the time they enter 1st grade, and by the time a child enters 7th grade, four out of 10 will have a vision and/or hearing impairment affecting academic performance. Left untreated, vision and/or hearing problems affect a child’s ability to achieve academic excellence, develop socially and emotionally, and connect with peers and educators. We are dedicated to enabling lifetime learning by identifying children’s preventable loss of vision and hearing. Our specially trained health staff will provide professional vision and hearing screenings at your school. Our certified professional team builds a custom service plan based on each student’s needs.
