Hearing

Hearing is an integral part of our lives that most people take for granted. Regrettably, the importance of good hearing and the consequences of hearing loss is still underestimated.

Children begin learning to speak and understand language within the first six months of their lives. It is also of note that the first three years of a child’s life are the most critical time for speech and language development.

When children who have hearing loss are screened and diagnosed early, they can begin receiving treatment to improve their hearing or services that can help them learn to communicate. These early interventions prevent delays in speech, language, cognitive, and social development.

Our program for hearing screening is a quick test to see how well children hear different sounds. They either pass or fail the screening. If they pass, you do not need to do anything else. If they fail, they may need more testing to see if they have hearing loss.

We make life easier with a hearing test and hearing aid accessories

Vision

Vision problems have adversely affected children’s ability to function and impair their academic achievement. If not identified and treated early, several eye disorders can lead to permanent visual impairment. Myopic children have trouble reading blackboard notes or other classroom presentation materials, and Hyperopic children have trouble reading or doing close work.

Our program will conduct School vision screenings to detect eye conditions that are defined as commonly occurring.

Getting New Glasses:

Following the exam day, we will arrange with the school to provide the students with their glasses. The optician will fit the glasses on each student individually and instruct them on caring for and cleaning their lenses. If the students’ glasses are lost or broken, we will replace them free of charge within a year.
